Getting to know Anna hurlbut

Tough. Strong. Smart. Determined. Some of the many qualities to describe one of Cheshire Girls Soccer captains Anna Hurlbut! Her motivation towards soccer along with great academics has opened her up to the opportunity to play Division 1 Soccer at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Hurlbut states “ It is almost like a family legacy…my parents went there, and now my dad works there”. A few other of Hurlbut's family members had also attended QU, but she is the first of her family to be committed to a sport. She has created a new path that hopefully, other members of her family can follow. As of now Hurlbut along with co-caption Gabby Tirado is leading CHSGS onto an amazing new season and is looking forward to being around her teammates and being able to grow back team chemistry that was lost due to Covid-19. Anna represents that hard work will always pay off even with a crazy high school experience.
