The Pulitzer Prize is an award given for achievements in print journalism, literary achievement, and musical composition, with 21 categories in total. Winning a Pulitzer is no easy feat. As many at CHS are aware, Assistant Principal Dan Tartarelli has a book out, called Unpopular Poems. This collection is incredibly popular among the CHS community, always being checked out at the library, and so this award comes as no surprise to long-time fans. To give a quick snapshot of some thoughts on the book, Goodreads reviewer Felicia says “I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but probably not for the reasons the author intended.” As Unpopular Poems is out of print, anyone interested in reading the book should attempt to check it out from the RJM.

Congratulations to Mr. Tartarelli for this honor!
