Champlain College is a small private school located in the middle of Burlington, Vermont. The school is well known for its innovative course schedule, and its fantastic game design and computer science programs. The school’s small, interconnected main campus makes it easy to navigate and its central location in Burlington makes it convenient to get anywhere in the city in just a few minutes.

Champlain is one of the 3 schools that makes up much of Burlington’s population, which makes the city a bustling college town throughout the school year. Although the school doesn’t have any division 1 sports, the school has club sports for almost everything one could think of. Champlain also has clubs that stretch from free-running to e-Sports, all of which are student led. Another benefit of the school, is the fact that freshmen don’t need to live on campus, unlike so many other universities in the United States.

Champlain also has a study abroad program that is partnered with institutions across the world, alongside the school’s 2 campuses abroad, in Montreal and Dublin. Champlain abroad also offers an international internship program, that can allow students to work with professionals in their field in Dublin, Montreal and Shanghai. For a school of about 2,200, it offers a diverse environment for students seeking a more community centric college experience. For more information, visit https://www.champlain.edu/.
