Our one and only, Yale University gives an updated plan for the pandemic. New Haven is statistically handling COVID numbers stronger than other regions, but it is better safe than sorry. The university has verified staff who are currently working remotely and will begin a return on October 4th, 2021. For this new school year, those who are faulty, staff, and trainees are required to be fully vaccinated. To enforce this rule upon arrival, those must submit the vaccination status to the university. Luckily along with staff, students are invited to come back to campus. Most classes are being taught in person with a mask mandate. Fortunately, Yale is giving the opportunity of vaccination clinics on 310 Winchester Ave, New Haven, Connecticut at the Crossfit Science Park nearby to campus for faculty, students, and others.

Another plus is that visitation to campus is allowed! The visitor must be invited by the university host. The visitor and university host must also be fully vaccinated.

Yale concludes traveling is a significant way of exposure, so stricter measures have been put in place. The university only supports faculty, staff, and students who are fully vaccinated to travel. After the full vaccinated travelers return they do not need to be tested unless COVID-19 symptoms arise. They must then quarantine and isolate until they are safe to be around others.

On the other hand, for international travel fully vaccinated faculty, staff, students, and approved visitors coming from outside the United States are required to test 3-5 days after travel and then isolate for 10 days if the test comes back positive. Things are finally paving forward for a safe and educational year!
