Spider-Man: No Way Home during just its opening weekend has proven to be the movie that brought people back to the theaters since the pandemic. This long-awaited movie drew in a crowd of Marvel fans who sighed, laughed, and cried during the blockbuster. The movie was packed with surprises and proved entertaining for both movie lovers and of course Marvel fanatics. It serves to represent that while the industry of movie theaters may never fully recover from the pandemic because of obvious challenges relating to cleanliness and social distancing, big hit movies may allow for some continued success. Millions of people have been racing to the theaters to see this movie and employees have been at the theaters cleaning up after crowds into all hours of the night, something that has not been needed since the pandemic began.

Even more impressive is that Spider-Man: No Way Home has surpassed Avengers: Infinity War in the Sony box office opening ranks. Avengers: Infinity War earned $257.69 million, while Spider-Man: No Way Home has made $260 million. Tom Holland and Zendaya have again proven their uncanny ability to attract a large audience and build their fan base with this hit movie.
