This December, Harry Styles made history again becoming Vogue Magazine’s first solo male cover star. The Gucci muse wore many interesting pieces, including a Gucci dress and jacket, while interviewed about his taste in fashion and photographed by Vogue’s Tyler Mitchell. Styles has been wearing Gucci since before his solo debut. He’s been seen in Alessandro Michele’s designs since 2015 at the American Music Awards.

Styles often causes fashion waves, such as the trend involving his JW Anderson cardigan that became so popular that a pattern was publicly released so fans could make their own. Undoubtedly a major fashion influence, Styles said in his Vogue interview, “You can never be overdressed. There’s no such thing.” He enjoys flamboyant fashion and added, “When you take away there’s clothes for men and there’s clothes for women; once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play.”

Harry Styles is a major fashion influencer, bringing back trends such as floral prints and gender neutral style that other men will be quick to copy. Vogue’s first solo male cover star is an amazing choice and a musician to watch.
