Why did you start participating in theater? I started theater for the music. So many songs today have roots and references to classic Broadway show tunes. Having a background in theater helps me understand and better perform music.

What was your favorite show you have been in? Why? My favorite show to participate in was Suite Surrender. It was a great cast, a funny show, and was also kind of a break out role for me.

What is your favorite show? My personal favorite musical is Jekyll and Hyde. The music in it alone makes it a masterpiece.

What is your dream role? My ideal role would be John Hinckley in the Steven Sondheim musical Assassins. He has an excellent duet with another character that I would love to perform.

In Antigone in Munich, you have to play a Nazi. What is it like playing such controversial character? Playing a Nazi is a little bit stressful, as their actions were unforgivable. That being said, I have tried to the best of my ability to create a historically accurate Nazi officer from the period.

What do you do when you are stressed? When I am stressed, I like to walk around the stage and auditorium. It’s calming to see so many people working for one goal, and reminds me of my purpose and my place in the production.

Why should people come see Antigone in Munich? People should come see Antigone in Munich because the cast and director have worked exceptionally hard putting the show together.
