Earlier in 2025, we invited every member of CCSD to share honest feedback about their workplace culture and climate. Across all five core values, most staff shared positive experiences. For full results, scroll down to "Bright Spots and Opportunities" one-pager.
We’re proud of these bright spots, and we’re equally committed to addressing areas where you told us we can do better. We know it’s been some time since the survey closed, and we want you to see how your feedback is shaping real change. For some examples of how your feedback is being used to drive progress in CCSD, see the "How Feedback is being Used to Drive Progress" flyer below.

The SUCCESS Survey is now closed, and we are happy to report that the majority (56%) of our over 10,000 staff have provided feedback on their experience in CCSD! Thank you to all who participated and had their voices heard. The purpose of the SUCCESS Survey is to identify next steps for improving workplace environments and to monitor our collective progress in fostering a positive district culture and climate that’s grounded in the CCSD core values.
Eighteen buildings achieved a participation rate of 75% or higher and were entered into a drawing to receive $600 in gift cards to treat their staffs to something special. Congratulations to the following five buildings that have won the $600 in gift cards:
1. Highline Community Elementary
2. Horizon Community Middle School
3. Independence Elementary
4. Mountain Vista Elementary
5. Traverse Academy
District leaders have already begun to review the feedback and look forward to sharing next steps about how we can continue to improve culture and climate in our buildings. Thank you for all you do in support of CCSD students and families!

Cherry Creek School District became a certified Breastfeeding Friendly employer by Tri-County Health Department in 2021. More than 73 of our schools and buildings currently have a designated lactation room in them. These are private spaces that allow mothers to express breastmilk in a warm, comfortable and inviting setting.
When not in use by one of our mothers, the lactation spaces also double as mindfulness and relaxation rooms. While each of our spaces is unique, many of them have items to assist with stress management. This might include a massage chair, fidget toys, aromatherapy, Bluetooth speakers and mindfulness guides. Employees are encouraged to use these ‘zen dens’ to destress and to utilize them for virtual telehealth appointments.
