Hello! My name is Katie Houck, and I recently graduated Saint Louis University in Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. While at SLU, I was also on the Women’s Soccer Team – I’m a huge soccer fan and love attending games whenever I can!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy lifting, hiking, and going on adventures. I currently live in Golden, Colorado with my fiancé and our dog Chance.
This will be my first year teaching, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Eastridge community!

Hello! My name is Jaime Gates. I am a Colorado native but have also lived and taught in Columbus, Ohio. I attended Colorado State University for my undergrad and I earned my Masters at the University of Colorado Denver in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I am a huge sports fan and especially love the Denver Broncos and Ohio State football! I also enjoy hiking, biking and anything outdoors! I live in Parker, Colorado with my husband Zach, twin 3 year-olds Harper and Dash and our dog Gus. This will be my 16th year teaching, all of which have been in kindergarten. This will be my 14th year at Eastridge Elementary. It is such a special place and I could not be more excited to start this new school year.

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Gries. I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago and now live in Denver with my boyfriend Tyler and our lovable English Bulldog, Ron. I earned my undergraduate degree from Concordia University of Wisconsin and completed my Master’s in Literacy. This will be my sixth year teaching and my fifth year in kindergarten—a grade I absolutely love! I come from a family of teachers, so education has always been a big part of my life. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy watching soccer, playing tennis, and listening to Taylor Swift. I’m so excited for another amazing year of learning and growth in Kindergarten!

Hello Eastridge Families,
My name is Millie Perez, and I am excited to be part of the Kindergarten team this year. I have eight years of teaching experience in Milwaukee, WI, and Denver, CO, and I am passionate about working with our youngest learners. This will be my third year teaching kindergarten. Originally from London, England, I previously worked in various roles at summer camps before becoming an elementary educator. I earned my bachelor's degree at Bethel University, Mishawaka, IN.
Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, exploring nature, and spending time with my husband and our two boys. Our eldest son also works in education, and our youngest is a freshman at EagleCrest High School.
I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year and learning more about the Eastridge community.

Hello! My name is Enguun Narangerel, and students can call me Ms. Nara. I am originally from Mongolia, but I grew up in Aurora, CO, where I attended Prairie Middle School and Overland High School. I went to CU Boulder for my undergraduate degree and received my Master’s in Curriculum Design and Instruction from Western Governors University.
This will be my eighth year teaching elementary school and my third in Kindergarten. I’m committed to creating a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to learn. I’m thrilled to be at Eastridge Elementary and can’t wait for a great year ahead!
Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my family, which includes my husband and our doodle, Rosie.
