Dear Eastridge Community Families, 

Welcome to Eastridge Community Elementary School!  We are thrilled and excited to welcome you and your child to our school community.  This group of kindergarten students will, undoubtedly, be a very special class.  This will be my 3rd year as the principal of Eastridge Elementary!

Whether you are a first-time Kindergarten parent/caregiver or you have been a part of our community for years; it is important to our school staff to have an open and connected relationship with each of you.  A strong partnership between our school and your home is essential to the growth and achievement of your kindergarten students.  We encourage you and invite you to be a part of our school community; we hope you participate in our family activities and programs throughout the school year.  

At Eastridge, our students and staff R.I.S.E. up by demonstrating the characteristics of Respect and Responsibility, Integrity, Safety, and Engagement!  We recognize students that are demonstrating these character traits throughout their day, in all areas of our school, in order to create and support a positive and compassionate community.  

As new Eastridge Eagles, we want every student to feel a sense of belonging, connection, and joy as they explore new ideas, uncover new interests, and grow in their relationships with friends.  We will discover and nurture the unique and special gifts every child brings with them to our school.  We will challenge them to try new things, support them when they are uncertain, and ensure that their brilliance shines through every day.  

The staff at Eastridge is passionate about the academic success of every child and the social/emotional wellbeing of all of our students. We cultivate a community where children feel safe taking academic risks and are supported wholeheartedly when things are hard.  Every student at Eastridge Community belongs here; we want each of them to show up whole for who they are and celebrate them for their unique talents and differences. 

I am excited for this school year and cannot wait to meet your children, welcome them to our community and begin this journey of learning and growing together!
