STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Innovation is part of the EnCORE team here at Challenge School. STEM and Innovation offers a unique perspective shift when approaching and solving real word problems and challenges. This type of mindset offers a mental agility that involves seeing problems as opportunities, challenging assumptions, recovering from failures, and crafting a path toward the future.

Are you working on something that will change the world? Yes or No? Do you have the willingness to learn big and think big? Being a student today is vastly different than being a student 20+ years ago. Today, we have more access to learning, resources, and materials in comparison to world leaders just two decades ago. An exponential learning mindset will prepare you to innovate like you want to innovate. It may be simple, but it’s not easy. STEM and Innovation paired with Design Thinking will inspire your students to dream the impossible and then give them the tools to make it a reality.

Students will be working on projects that involve Design Thinking, Engineering, Coding and Manufacturing. These four STEM pathways are the foundation for STEM in the middle school and high school.
