Mrs. Hensley

Hello Everyone,

Although this is only my third-year teaching at Coyote Hills, I have been teaching for 16 years, including 13 years in 5th grade. In my classroom, I strive to create a safe environment where all students feel free to take risks, challenge their thinking and have fun.

I have a degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver in Behavioral Science with a licensure in Elementary Education K-6 and a minor in Mathematics. When I was younger, my favorite three subjects in school were math, science, and art. Now, I enjoy teaching all subjects.

I live in Aurora with my husband (Bobby), my thirteen- and eight-year-old sons (Noah and Jackson), my puppy (Chelsea), and my mother and father. They are my life away from Coyote Hills. Some of my favorite things to do are go to the mountains, watch movies, paddle board, and play games with my family.
