My name is John Farnham and I have been a teacher for the past twelve years.  This will be my fifth year teaching 5th grade at Coyote Hills and I look forward to learning and laughing with your children this year.

I was raised in Denver and attended Thomas Jefferson High School. I earned my undergraduate degree in English from the University of Missouri and am an ardent supporter of the Mizzou Tigers! After college, I worked in the corporate sector for a while before I decided to become a teacher. What I like best about teaching is building relationships with the students and showing them that there is no progress without struggle.

On the personal side, I have an amazing 17 year-old daughter named Kate, who will be a Senior at Cherokee Trail High School in the fall. Besides Mizzou, I am also a strong supporter of the NBA champion Denver Nuggets and the New York Yankees. I enjoy reading, golfing and traveling with my friends. I am excited to be a member of the Coyote Hills community!  The Pack is back!!
