We’ll spend the evening playing fun games, getting to know each other and reminding ourselves about our Beaver Code. A fun-filled evening to start our new term!

Friendship and Teamwork
This week we’ll be focusing on friendship and teamwork! Beavers will learn about our Beaver ceremonies and traditions before taking part in some fun team challenges, including building towers and tackling an Escape the Maze challenge. We’ll also have some parachute games if the weather allows.

Bring a Parent Night!
This week we’re inviting Beavers to bring along a grown-up to join in the fun. There will be lots of self-led activities to try together, including building challenges, experiments, crafts, codes and mini catapults. Move around the activities at your own pace and have a go at as many as you like. We’re looking forward to showing our grown-ups what Beavers is all about!

Community Impact – Heroes Against Homelessness
This week we’ll be learning about homelessness and the work of Porchlight as we prepare for our Big Cardboard Sleepout. Beavers will explore what makes a home, think about what people need to feel safe and cared for, and learn how they can help others.

Woodland Walk Adventures
This week we're heading out for a Woodland Adventure!
Beavers will be taking a walk through Reinden Woods and completing a simple autumn-themed bingo hunt as they explore. We'll be looking for signs of autumn, noticing the sights and sounds around us and enjoying some time outdoors together.
Please make sure Beavers come dressed for the weather with sensible, comfortable footwear. We will be outdoors, so coats/waterproofs are recommended if needed. Please also make sure they have been to the toilet before the meeting, as we may not have access to toilets while we're out.

It's Halloween fun night!,
Beavers will be getting creative and having lots of spooky fun with Halloween lanterns, fizzy potions, a pumpkin hunt, Halloween feely bowls and more! There will also be a quiet table for anyone who would like a calmer activity. Please don't worry about costumes — dressing up is completely optional!
