Assessment for All Faculty

Every faculty member is responsible for teaching to and assessing mastery of the outcomes listed in the course description for each course they teach. Credit course descriptions are in the college catalog. For non-credit course descriptions and outcomes, email Tim Pierce, Curriculum Coordinator.

Every faculty member is also responsible for administering any assessments their academic program/discipline has decided to use for its unit-level outcomes assessment plan.

It divides into Program Outcomes, which splits into Outcomes for Primary Credential Awarded and All Outcomes Within Three Years. All faculty need to teach to and assess learning of all outcomes listed for a course in the college catalog. Each individual academic unit with full time faculty also need to choose outcomes to assess for the unit for unit-level discussion and planning. The unit assessment activities are documented in assessment plans, annual unit plans, program reviews, and the college's year 3 and year 7 accreditation reports.
