About Activity : 

Course Overview

Understanding the Fundamentals of art and design is an exploratory journey for an aspiring artist or a designer. Here, he/she discovers the necessary skills in art and design that build the base for developing a career in the creative fields. Through this course, a student will be sensitized towards art and design as a whole. A student will also be exposed to basics of various disciplines of art and design through projects to help him/her identify interests and aptitude. In addition to building art and design skills, we focus on developing creativity, imagination, communication skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving. The Fundamentals of Art & Design Course is open to all age groups - learners who wish to explore a creative career choice to learners who just wish to learn a new skill.

Course Structure

We conduct 1 class a week at Green Acres Academy. These sessions are for 2 hours each. Since the course focuses more on art and design skill building, the mediums are generally pre-decided by the learner.

Mediums are the materials that are used for experimentation, and for creating artworks as a part of this course.
