CBK Orchestra students are responsible for their own concert attire!
Required Concert Attire for Men:
- long or short sleeved, solid black dress shirt (tucked in)
- nice black pants (not jeans, sweatpants, etc.);
- black socks
- black belt
- closed-toe, all black dress shoes (not sneakers)
Required Concert Attire for Women:
- long or short-sleeved solid black blouse or nice sweater (modestly cut and appropriate for school);
- nice black pants (not jeans) OR ankle-length, black opaque tights under a modest black skirt OR black ankle-length skirt;
- black or off-black tights/leggings/stockings/hose;
- closed-toe, black dress shoes with little or no heel
No Sneakers, Jeans, T-Shirts, Tank tops, Halters, Flip-flops.
All attire should be cleaned, pressed, and appropriate for professional settings. Please do not wear any accessories, hair color, etc. that distract from the visual unity of the ensemble.
Students failing to meet the dress code will not be allowed to perform and their grade will be affected. Any questions or issues concerning dress code should be taken care of prior to the concert date, NOT the night of the performance.
