For Changemaker Families: Your 'One-Stop-Shop' for Each Project!
Welcome to the Changemakers Project Hub! This is your family’s one-stop shop for everything related to each service project.
Here you’ll find project details and instructions, registration links with shift sign-ups, and helpful tips to prepare your scholar. After each project, you can also upload photos and memories and complete a short reflection activity.
We encourage all Changemaker families to use this hub as your go-to resource. It’s designed to make participating simple, fun, and meaningful—so your scholar can focus on serving, learning, and leading with kindness.

Join us for at least one cleanup shift as we care for Longhorn Park, Calf Pasture Park, and Collegiate Prep. Be sure to watch The Heart Behind the Project video video beforehand and complete the reflection activity after your shift!

Before the Project
ASAP - Parent/Guardians - please make sure you are an approved district volunteer
The week of the project, watch the 3-min The Heart Behind the Project video with your scholar and talk about why we serve
The morning of, make sure your scholar eats breakfast and plan to arrive 5-10 min before your shift to check in/pick up supplies
Consider joining our GroupMe if you have not already. Here is where all "day of project" communications will happen - including any changes or updates.
During the Project
Drink water (bring a water bottle)
Snap photos of you and your scholar in action
After the Project
Complete the brief reflection activity with your scholar
Upload your photos from the day
UPDATE AS OF 9/26: - GIVE BACK YOUR GRABBER! Unfortunately, we do not have enough grabbers to allow each person to hold onto their own for the year, so please RETURN YOUR GRABBER at the end of your cleanup shift.
