Mission: The mission of the Comprehensive Counseling Program, in alignment with Northside Elementary School and the Chapel Hill Carrboro City School District, is to foster a learning environment that promotes Thinking, Learning and Growing with Purpose, Persistence and Pride in the areas of Academics, College/Career Readiness and Social/Emotional Development for all students. We work in partnership with school administration, teachers, parents/guardians and the community to ensure every student will experience a nurturing educational environment, where they obtain the knowledge, skills, behaviors and attitudes necessary to live enriched lives as productive members of a 21st century society and eliminate the racial predictability of performance outcomes.
