What new skills or techniques did you learn in 3ds Max this quarter? Show us now or you're getting a 0. We're not asking you, we're telling you. Don't waste our time.
The new skills and techniques in this quarter that I learned were transparencies, maps, lights, render methods, cameras, shape tweaking, and other tactics and effects that I used for Autodesk 3ds Max.
Which project or exercise helped you understand a specific aspect of 3D modeling better? Show us now or you're getting a 0. We're not asking you, we're telling you. Don't waste our time.
Probably the final one being Still Life!, I made a overcall composition and new mapping techniques in which includes special effects.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you address them? Show us now or you're getting a 0. We're not asking you, we're telling you. Don't waste our time.
Well, I had trouble focusing and acting like an AI. I kept futzing around with the settings and I got confused about what the teacher was saying. But you know, I did not like going off a tangent, believe it or not. But I had to, because it was part of my learning, even if no one thinks it is.
How has your understanding of 3D modeling concepts improved over the quarter? Show us now or you're getting a 0. We're not asking you, we're telling you. Don't waste our time.
I had to go rewatch a few times, then take the questions literally reading them, and then also, when I submitted by uncomplete Still Life!, when the teacher gave me a correction on the wall, that's what exactly I did!
How have you applied the knowledge gained from previous quarters to your current projects? Show us now or you're getting a 0. We're not asking you, we're telling you. Don't waste our time.
Well, simple. Whenever there was a taskbar, I turned it off. So that way I would not get distracted going on other websites and I even turned on full screen mode, so I didn't have to worry about new tabs I wanted to go to that proves I might be going on a tangent too extreme.
Getting Started on my 3ds Max.
May I have a take of a-quick to see-a what I've done so far? So... got into my very first 3 creations. One was the cone I love. Two was that random place in traditional hand-drawn pencil animation as I did not expect. Three was the sphere that affected me.
It was very obvious. Four primitives in a corner scene. Okay? Other one was... Ta-da! Alfie Hitchcat, or Alfe Hitchcat as I would mention it.
It was like I managed to get the entire Alfie thing. Except for the face, which is super important, but that's okay.
It was a goulash. Had to make sure that everyone would fit together so I would not get such a bad grade.
I better understand the whole thing I did. It was hard to get the head and the limbs, but hey does it look cool? A Lego figurine!
What I like from this is that you could do anything and everything just based on a Lego model, as I really love Legos, especially when growing up.
Well being said is an acorn from the ocean, I particularly got a ring from Titanic, other was a bowling ball, in which indeed, was from The Big Lebowski.
I loved this project, I can't tell how amazed I was when making this project. You could change the maps and I love changing maps, especially gradient maps!
Recreated a scene from Citizen Kane as well as last but not least... Ta-da-da-da! Still Life, featuring Titanic, The Big Lebowski, and I forgot what that other movie was.
What was the concept for your main character, and how does it fit your chosen prompt?
