Gifted Education at McDougle

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will give the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) to all of our 3rd-grade students between November 1 and Nov 21, 2022. We will also include 4th and 5th-grade students who are new to the district as well as 5th-grade students who are referred. Our goal is to make sure each child in grades 3 through 5 has the chance to participate in our universal screening opportunity which allows us to support our students through a strength-based approach.
