Free Enrollment Open: 2025-2026 Connected Career Rounds (Cleveland Clinic)
Enrollment is now open for Connected Career Rounds (CCR) for the 2025-2026 school year. Educators are invited to have their middle and high school students join a team of caregivers to learn about the career journeys that landed them face-to-face with today’s most challenging healthcare issues.
Each session includes a caregiver team, whose members discuss their career path and how they provide care around a specific health topic. The sessions also provide valuable information about the depicted careers such as average income, education requirements and expected 10-year job growth. At the end of each live session, students have the opportunity to ask the caregivers any questions they may have.
Sessions run from September - March: Various Health career providers speak with students on topics including: “What’s In Your Head?,” “What Happens When You Vape?,” “Play Ball: Careers in Sports Medicine,” “Sound, Speech, and Surgery: Careers in ENT,” “Heroes of the Hospital: The Life of Nurses,” “Follow Your Heart: Working in Cardiology,” “Discover the Future,” “Peace of Mind: Your Mental Health,” “Inside the MICU: A Day in Critical Care,” “ All About Therapy,” and “That’s Why We Learn Chemistry: Pharmacy and Anesthesia."
Can't make it to a live session? Students and teachers can also access on-demand recordings of past sessions, plus other valuable career exploration resources, by visiting the Connected Career Rounds website.
Teachers and other school professionals: If you are interested in participating in live CCR sessions, please register your class today. Once registered, you will receive RSVP emails one week before each live session so you can save a spot for your class.

The iDream program is a several-week virtual enrichment program for students to learn about different healthcare specialties and topics from black healthcare professionals. Response from a former ECHHS student, "I got to participate in the program last year and it was honestly the best healthcare-oriented program I got to experience because of all that we got to learn and also because of how students in the program got to interact with and communicate with various inspirational black healthcare professionals. Last year, I got a scholarship to attend the program for free and I think the program partners with educational institutions to offer more scholarships for students to attend the program."
The podcast was started by Dr. Jasmine Weiss, a black physician at UNC. Through the B-MED podcast, students interested in health careers get to learn more about the process of getting involved in healthcare from black healthcare professionals who have done really inspirational things for others.
