This temple of Primatives was honestly pretty easy to make. Once I was able to get the basic shapes down and how to maneuver everything it became pretty simple. I had never worked with 3ds max before this so i found it to be a pretty enjoyable way to start off my time with it. The most confusing part about it was just trying to get all my plane set up to try and follow along and have similar measuremnts to make it look as close to the image as possible
This is my 4 Corners scence although it is super basic I totally like it, I like all the neutrals and colors (half of my clothes look like this color palette). But It was on of the first projects where I took away a new set of skills such as adujusting all the parametere and also moving the shapes around to allow them to align with one another. Such as the tree's I had to move the cone around in order for it to perfectly sit on the cylinders.
I love my bibble mostly because I made it's bibble like bibble from Barbie. The hardest part of making this was trying to make his head look realstic as possible. I had to try and use diffrent types of shapes and then go into editable poly to make him look as realestic as possible. My favorite part is his little wings cause there so adorable.
This is my it's alive scene, I really liked being able to move my character and make him do something silly. This was the first project where I used the biped editor, which allowed me to move certain parts of the character without trying to take him completely apart and make him move in the way I wanted. Such as his legs, they are able to move into a split, making it look like he is leaping right over the little guy.
Making Indian Jones's outfit was a super unique and fun part of this module. I used Unwrap UVW to move the figures face and other parts to the map in order to align them and make everything fit as it should. Using the UVW has allowed me to move a figures face around without actually changing it's position or location. This is also helpful because if I dont like how a ceratin part of the object is and what it is being shown on it, I can move it around to get the map/base to be where I want it to be.
I am most proud of my pumpkin with a bowtie attached to it. This was not an extremely complicated process but it means a lot to me, as I made it in honor of 2 cats that passed away a few days after each other. Mr. Berro and Pumpkin were best friends and they both passed away from FIP within days of each other--pumpkin passed the nigh before the certification--I knew after Pumpkin I wanted to incorporate her in someway, but I did not realize that Berro would go a few days after. So I ended up making a object to honer them both, so I made a pumpkin and made it the color of her eyes, and then added a white bowtie in honor of Berro, as he was named after Mr. Berro from downtown abby who always wore a bowtie. It may not be the main artifact but it means the most to me. I used a sphere and then editable poly to make this then made a sqaure into a trapazoid and created the bow tie, which I would attach to the pumpkin.
