Message to Candidates

Thank you for your interest in the Chattahoochee-Flint RESA GaTAPP program. As a regional educational service agency, it is the mission of Chattahoochee-Flint RESA to assist member systems in building capacity by offering authentic research-based learning experiences for educators. We strive to increase content knowledge, awareness, and skills so that educators may create opportunities for enhanced student achievement. Our agency serves 15 county school districts, local charter schools, and local private schools.

GaTAPP (Georgia Teacher Academy of Preparation and Pedagogy) is a GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) approved program with the expectation that the program providers adhere to the rules set forward by the GaPSC.

As potential candidates enrolled in the CFRESA GaTAPP program please be prepared for a rigorous, intense, fast-paced educational experience. One that will involve a great amount of dedication, cooperation, and planning to successfully complete in 18 months for general education and 18 to 24 months for Elementary or Special Education.

The CFRESA staff is dedicated to providing the best research-based instruction and personal guidance to ensure our candidates have a positive classroom experience and will develop the desire to remain in the education profession.
