• Less is more and simpler is better.
• Do use consistent naming conventions and structures-- e.g. Explore, Explain, Evaluate; Learn, Do, Share etc.
• Put learning goals FIRST and in large type.
• There is no such thing as directions that are too detailed.
• Don't use too many colors. Do be consistent in your use of color--e.g. make tasks one color and directions another.
• Don't use unusual fonts that are tough to read. Do limit yourself to one or two fonts in a doc or on a page.
• Don't put too much on a single page or Google Doc. Do allow plenty of white space and area for students to provide responses in Hyperdocs/decks.
