From Copenhagen, Denmark to Malmö, Sweden to Hamburg, Germany, students on this program will spend their first week engaging with communities, museums, workshops, entrepeneurs and innovation labs to prompt discussion around architecture, creativity and design. How do culture, the needs of the local population, and larger global issues at hand factor into the process? Where does sustainability fit into the picture?
In the second week, students will travel to the heart of the German countryside to our sister school, CJD Jugenddorf Christophorusschule Oberurff to dive deeper into the questions above. Students will immerse themselves in the German culture, living with individual host families from our sister school, spending their days visiting classes, meeting new German friends, and touring historic nearby towns like Marburg and Kassel.
