While our team is made up of four outstanding individuals, our school has provided us many resources that allow us to create even better work. Listed below are the resources that have been provided to us which have allowed our team to reach further past its already immense intellectual boundaries.
One of the many things at our disposal here at Charlotte Latin School is the FabLab. The FabLab means fabrication lab, and there are dozens of such labs located across the globe. The FabLab program is certified by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the most prestigious schools in the United States for those looking to continue on to lucrative careers in a diverse variety of technological venues. The FabLab includes a plethora of creative materials and fabrication utensils. Amongst these great tools are soldering irons, 3D printers, several vinyl cutters, an embroidery machine, 2 industrial laser cutters, and an artisan desktop laser cutter with many AI features on board. The FabLab has proved to be an extremely useful part of our eCYBERMISSION project, as it has provided us with chips, wires, and other materials to assist us in our design process of our product. The FabLab has allowed us to quickly gather materials to create constant prototypes of our design. This rapid development, and ease of upgrade has allowed the Toe Hawks to take immense strides in their design.
Charlotte Latin School employees a diverse team of technology specialists. These specialists have assisted us in our research throughout the course of this year's project and last year's as well. We could not have come as far in our research without these tech instructors guiding us along the way using their years of experience in the field to educate the youth of society with their teachings.
Another thing we had a lot of was articles online published by reputable medical sources such as the Mayo Clinic. These articles helped us gather a profound knowledge of idiopathic toe walking and it's long term consequences.
