"Beginning with the 2015-16 school year, South Carolina teachers must complete professional development or coursework related to literacy to earn either the Read to Succeed (R2S) Literacy Teacher endorsement or Requirement, depending on their certification area(s)." -SC DOE site

SCDE Read to Succeed General Information

You can register for all Read to Succeed courses in Frontline under the event "Read to Succeed [VirtualSC & Graduate Credit]."

Information regarding the specific classes needed to add a Read to Succeed endorsement to an educator certificate is provided on the R2S certification webpage.

Create a user account in SC Educator and upload documents directly to your certification record. Transcripts must still be sent directly to the SCDE at transcripts@ed.sc.gov by the college, university, or transcript delivery service.
