Create Quizzes Using the Question Bank
Teachers can use existing items from the Question Bank.
The "Show all questions" option shows all the questions for teachers to review before adding them to the quiz.
This can be done for MCQs and for multi-part FRQs that have been broken out into separate questions.
An icon appears next to the Question Title, indicating if it’s a Topic Question, or if it’s part of a Progress Check of a Practice Exam, to help them decide to include it in their quiz.
Lockdown Browser
CCSD IT has been alerted about this feature to ensure computers have access to the update.
On Chromebooks, it is a browser extension.
To enable when assigning the quiz, go to Advanced Settings -> Enable Lockdown Browser -> Select Yes.
Print Feature Now Available for All Assessments
Click on All Resources and select the three-dot kebab on the right-hand side of the screen.
Then they should click on Related PDFs to select either the "Standard" or "Paper Saver" option of Test Book.
Teachers can also find PDFs of Scoring Guides here as well.
Score Free-Response Questions (FRQs) Electronically More Easily
Navigate to the Resources & Assignments tab on the left side of the page, and click on Assigned Resources.
Click on the button that says To Score.
Select the individual student’s Score button on the Assignment Overview page.
They can now see all scoring guidelines for a question stacked vertically and will be able to scroll through all components of each FRQ.
For another approach, teachers can also click the Enter Scores button on the Assignment Overview page. This will allow them to enter the scores, for all components of the FRQ, but won’t provide the scoring guidelines to reference (to download those, they can click on Download Related PDFs).
Supplement Practice Exam, where applicable
Mirrors the digital testing experience & includes scoring guidelines, where applicable
Found by clicking Practice Exam tab under Course Overview
Green circle icon with a question mark will identify these practice exam questions in the Question Bank
Students Score Their Own Work - This is a terrific strategy to get students familiar with the rubric guidelines and to create an opportunity for students to reflect on their own work.
Expand Advanced Settings
Under Students Score Their Own Work, select Yes from dropdown menu
