Grade 10

Incoming sophomores: this summer, you will refine your post-secondary goals through experiences that relate potential careers to three of the expectations from the 'Chariho 10' that you consider to be strengths.

You can fulfill the Grade 10 Summer Study expectations in either of the 2 ways:

Option 1: Complete 10 hours of: Job Shadow, Volunteer Work, Internship with a professional, organization, or business that you believes complements the 3 expectations you identified as strengths. You can explore multiple careers or interests or invest your 10 hours in one. Present your findings in a brief presentation to your advisory in September (or make a plan).

Option 2: Identify 3 of the expectations in the 'Chariho 10' that you consider strengths and design a plan for how you will invest time this year exploring professions or career opportunities in an area where you can showcase your strengths. Research through reading at least three resources that help you to better understand a career field. (MLA formatted citations required)
