Referee Positioning
It is important for each referee and AR to maintain the best position throughout the game so that they can make the best calls.
Center Referees should try to stay within 10–15 yards of the action (i.e. where the play/ball is)
Each AR is responsible for watching half of the field, and do not need to position themselves beyond the half-line during a game
The AR should move back and forth along the touchline in their half, so that they remain IN-LINE with the 2nd to last defender at all times. This helps the AR more clearly see the play and helps them identify off-sides situations
On a corner kick, the AR should stand directly BEHIND the corner flag, in order to see the play unfolding
