I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, but grew up in Salinas, CA, and have taught Spanish at the University level since 2009.
My areas of expertise are Spanish language acquisition and Latin-American Literature.
I have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree (UCSC), Master of Arts degree, and Ph.D. candidacy requirements (UCI, ABD).
I live next to the Cleveland National Forest with my family of five.
My pets include two Conures, tropical fish, and a growing bonsai collection.
