Welcome to Chancellor's School.
Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone and I am delighted that you will soon become part of our Chancellor's community. We know that moving from primary school can bring a mixture of excitement, anticipation and perhaps a few nerves, but I can assure you that we will do everything we can to help you settle quickly and feel part of our school.
This year is particularly special for me because, just as you are beginning your journey at Chancellor's, I am beginning mine too as Headteacher. In many ways, we are new together.
That makes your year group incredibly important. You will be the first students to experience Chancellor's from the very start of my leadership, and together we will help shape the next chapter of our school's story. I cannot wait to watch you grow in confidence, develop new friendships, discover new talents and achieve things that perhaps you never thought possible.
At Chancellor's, we believe that every child can achieve, enjoy and excel. We have high expectations because we believe in our students and know that young people rise to the standards we set. You will be supported, encouraged and challenged to be the very best version of yourself, both inside and outside the classroom.
Most importantly, I want you to know that you will be joining a school where you will be known, valued and cared for. Our staff are committed to helping every student succeed, and our older students will be ready to welcome you into our community.
I am incredibly excited to meet you and your families over the coming months and to begin this journey together.
