On 4th December, 2023 we witnessed a substantial enhancement in our CRISIL Ratings. Moving up from the ‘CRISIL A Rating Watch with Positive Implications,’ we are now proudly holding the esteemed ‘CRISIL AA-/Stable’ rating.
CRISIL’s acknowledgment of our financial strength and stability underscores our relentless commitment to excellence, robust financial performance, and prudent management practices. We would like to shine a spotlight on three remarkable women at our Sira branch of Karnataka - Pushpalatha P, Nalina, and Aishwarya; who embody the essence of empowerment in a field where gender balance has traditionally been a challenge.
Pushpalatha, who started her journey as a Customer Relationship Executive, has not only excelled in building strong relationships with our customers but has also displayed exceptional leadership skills. Her dedication and strategic acumen have propelled her into the role of Assistant Branch Manager, a testament to her unwavering commitment to professional growth and development. Nalina and Aishwarya, both Customer Relationship Executives, stand as inspiring examples of perseverance and determination. In a field where women are often underrepresented, they have not only broken barriers but have thrived, contributing significantly to the success of our Sira branch. Their commitment to excellence, paired with their ability to connect with customers, has played a pivotal role in fostering trust and expanding our customer base.
These three incredible women not only demonstrate their prowess in the financial sector but also serve as catalysts for change and empowerment. Rising Beyond Adversity: Puttamma's Journey with Chaitanya
In the village of Pattanayakanahalli Cross, Karnataka, our customer Puttamma embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with the support of our company Chaitanya India Fin Credit Pvt Ltd. Securing a loan, she realized her dream of establishing a bakery and condiments shop known as Cake Point.
With the financial backing, Puttamma, alongside her husband and son, brought the aroma of freshly baked goods to their community. Putting her heart into every pastry and cake, Puttamma's bakery flourished, providing a source of livelihood for her family, making her financially self reliant.
Looking back at her journey, Puttamma couldn't be prouder of what she had accomplished. Puttamma’s “Cake Point” stands as a testament to Puttamma's resilience, family support, and the transformative power of financial assistance. The community now enjoys the delightful creations from Cake Point, a small bakery that represents big dreams realized in the quaint village of Pattanayakanahalli Cross.

At Chaitanya India, we believe in the transformative power of community support. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the flood-affected areas of Udaipur region and beyond have exemplified our commitment to making a positive impact where it matters most. In the wake of devastating floods in the Ahore branch area, we stepped forward to provide much-needed assistance to those grappling with the aftermath. Through the distribution of 400 essential logistics kits containing items such as oil, rice, sugar, spices, and hygiene products, we aimed to alleviate some of the hardships faced by the affected families. Additionally, our dedicated team extended a helping hand by delivering pulses, soap, and flour to three villages – Chadrai, Panchota, and Thumba – eliciting overwhelming gratitude from the local communities.
But our efforts continued. With a vision of sustainable development, we embarked on an ambitious afforestation project using the innovative Miyawaki method. Covering 1000 square meters of barren land, our goal is to transform the landscape into a lush haven, ensuring a sustainable future for the villages of Doddabommanahalli and Jyothipura. The project, inaugurated on Nov 1, 2023, saw enthusiastic participation from the School Development Management Committee, school teachers, students, and local officials, marking the beginning of a greener tomorrow for generations to come.
Furthermore, we are proud to share the impact of our partnership with HelpAge India in organizing multi-specialty health checkup camps in Chamarajanagar District. At Santhemarahalli and Ramapura, hundreds of villagers benefited from vital screenings, referrals, and consultations, ranging from eye care to cardiac health. These camps not only provided essential medical services but also fostered a sense of community and care, reflecting our core values at Chaitanya India Fin Credit.
As we reflect on these initiatives, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible team, local officials, and partners who have made these endeavors possible. Each number in our report represents a story, a life touched by our collective efforts. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to health, community, and the power of coming together for a brighter future.

Amrutha Krupavani (Assistant Manager - Software Projects, Bangalore) a vibrant and determined individual, is fueled by an unwavering passion for fitness. In the hustle and bustle of her daily life, she understands the importance of carving out time for her own well-being. Each day, amidst the demands of work and personal responsibilities, she sets aside a dedicated slot for her fitness regimen. In the early morning, on weekends or during lunch break, she takes out time for herself and immerses in brisk walks, jog or a calming yoga routine. She actively seeks out opportunities to incorporate movement into her daily life, choosing to walk whenever possible. By doing this, the stressors of daily life seem more manageable, energy levels soar, allowing her to tackle challenges with a renewed vigour. Amrutha's journey serves as an inspiration to others, illustrating that dedicating time for oneself is not a luxury but a necessity for a fulfilling and vibrant life.

Through meticulous field and head office audits, every department is scrutinized to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, reinforcing the organization's resilience against risks.
The Audit team not only acts as a vigilant watchdog but significantly enhances the overall quality of the company, actively contributing to the prevention of malpractices. On 23rd November, 2023 in a strategic move our company Chaitanya India Fin Credit Pvt. Ltd., has joined forces with Svatantra Microfin, the pioneering initiative spearheaded by the visionary Ms. Ananya Birla. This strategic union positions us as the second-largest player in the microfinance sector, paving the way for a reshaped and more impactful journey. The union of our strengths heralds a new era of possibilities, and we are excited about the positive impact we can create on the microfinance landscape in India.
As both Svatantra Microfin and Chaitanya India Fin Credit embark on this transformative journey, we look forward to actively contributing to building a brighter and more equitable future.
