Dear Team Chaitanya,
Let me first Congratulate each of you for your invaluable contribution in the year 2021-22. We have crossed the 2600cr mark in portfolio outstanding despite the second wave of Covid and switched to the new LMS. Last two years, we as an organization proved that agility to adapt to the changes in our strengths. This year starts with a new RBI guideline that is going to disrupt how microfinance is done and perceived and we are already working to adapt to the new realities.
In the new financial year starting now each of us in the company will be challenged by two things while continuing to be more agile to the changes-
1) How to build a good and high performing team,
2) Ensuring the high process quality in whatever we do.
These two will set the foundation for growth not only this year but for the years to come. I wish each of you a great time ahead!!

I’m Sanjay Herkal, Regional Manager, Shivamogga, Karnataka. I’ve joined Chaitanya in 2018 as a Branch Manager and gained experience for 2 years in the Lokapur Branch. Post getting promoted to Unit Manager, I got posted to Bailhongal Unit for 8 months. Now while working as Regional Manager in Shivamogga I experienced a lot of professional growth. In Chaitanya, we get ample opportunities to learn and improve.
We spend the majority of our time away from our home town intending to support our family and to provide them a better life. I and my family felt valued when we received the letter of appreciation addressed to my family for their constant support and encouragement. I feel fortunate to be a part of Chaitanya and look forward to growing more

My name is Gita Ranjit Patil and I am from Surupali village, Murgud, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. I am a customer of Chaitanya for the past 4 years and have taken the loan amount of up to 2 lakh till now. My journey with Chaitanya started in 2017, back then the financial condition of my family was worse. With my first loan, I bought a cow and started cattle farming post that, I’ve set up a petty shop. Now, after 4 years, I have 3 cows and an expanded petty shop. My family’s financial conditions also got improved a lot. I want to give credit to Chaitanya’s services for the positive change in my life.

As Chaitanya is consistently involved in community building activities, this quarter the CSR activities were aimed to make our local security forces equipped with COVID Safety-related equipment. Our frontline security warriors served us 24*7 in every situation, hence as a token of gratitude the COVID Safety kits were distributed to various police stations. Each COVID safety kit is comprised of masks, machine sanitizer, hand sanitizer, liquid handwash, and more. Overall, 83 kits in Uttar Pradesh, 31 in Jharkhand, and 60 in Maharashtra were distributed.
