CISP 2 [Kinder]

We will develop our skills as Communicators through different fun workshops in the classroom and at Chadwick Gardens (observing bugs, vegetables, and flowers).

In Writers Workshop we will make books, magazines, and posters.

In Readers Workshop we will use books to research our interests and strengthen our reading strategies.

During Story Workshop we will use materials to create the elements of stories, build our vocabulary, and apply our writing and reading strategies.

The little mathematicians will have fun and creative activities every day to develop their Math skills such as counting, addition and subtraction, and more! This class will help them to become problem-solvers, inquirers, and communicators!

This will be a fun time for students to let out their energy and develop proficient movement skills through various activities (team adventure games, swimming, gymnastics, obstacle courses, etc). Through the individual & group activities, students will focus on independent personal fitness and also learn to cooperate with one another.

Students will have opportunities to enhance fine motor skills by cutting, folding, painting, and drawing while exploring art-making. Students will use the basic design elements of line, shape, color, and patterns.
