Happy Purim! We had so much fun celebrating together in class! After arriving in costumes, we shared gifts of food (Mishloach Manot) with all of our friends, we baked and ate yummy Hamantaschen, enjoyed a sing-a-long and puppet show with Morah Callie, and used our Graggers (noise makers) to drown out the name of the villain!
Mishloach Manot:
Sing-a-long and Puppet Show:
Baking and eating our delicious Hamantaschen
Making our crowns!
Making our graggers!
Making/balancing "gem" towers for our palace:
Counting out gemstones to adorn our "crowns"
Reading Hamentaschen
Making our royal selves:
Windy Word Blending!
Making wind by blowing through a straw to move paint around the paper!
Cutting out kites, and painting them to strengthen our fine motor control. Then we used shaving cream and blue paint to create a windy cloudy sky for them to fly on.
