The first part of my career was spent training & teaching adults. I loved the challenge of learning new things, figuring out how to break information down and finding ways to teach it so that everyone could learn. When my children were young, I decided to expand my education and pursue my teaching certification.

I have a BS from Meredith College and this will be my 10th year teaching. I have been married to my husband Vince for 24 years. We have two children that are in high school here at Clover Garden.

I like to bake, read and go to the beach whenever possible!

I chose a career in education so I could influence the lives of children and help mold them into productive and kind citizens when they grow up.

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2002 in Elementary Education. In 2012 I earned a Masters in School Administration from A&T University. In 2008 I was honored to as a Teacher of the Year.

I am happily married to Matt, my husband of 8 years. We have three boys, ranging in age from six to one and a half.

My hobbies include crafting and reading. For fun we like to camp, go to the lake on our boat and travel.
