It is a very useful tool when you are reading something a little challenging. With Read & Write for Google Chrome you can:
have the text on the screen read out to you
simplify pages of lots of text
highlight text when researching and collect the highlighted text

If you are reading something that uses words in another language you can type these words into Google Translate to understand their meaning in English.
Most importantly, if you want your parents to help you, and they might usually speak another language, you can use Google Translate to help them read some information or instructions with you.

Pomodoro means 'tomato' in Italian. So this is a Tomato Timer.
This technique is great for adults and children. All you do is set a timer, focus on the task for the length of the timer and then have a brief break after the time goes off. You then repeat this 3 or 4 times before having a longer break.
