Meg loved gymnastics starting in grade school and took tumbling for 8 years, at which knee issues transitioned her to diving for Charles City. Their she learned lessons in focus hard work, fearlessness, and setting goals that she still uses today. In 1997, Meg started coaching tumbling at her local YMCA and then spend time 3 years coaching competitive gymnastics at Cedar Valley Gymnastics Academy and another 4 at Ruby Gymnastics Academy. Meg and her husband Ben have four kids, Myra, Ella, Leo, and Clarence who keep them busy.
