Ms. Hobson is a product of Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District and has been gainfully employed with the district for 14 years. She received both a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.

Her passion is to assist students with meeting their short- and long-term goals academically, behaviorally, and personally.

Ms. Dominguez graduated from the University of Houston with a double major in Psychology and Spanish Literature. She received her master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. Ms. Dominguez has 16 years of experience working with middle school students. She is a former Spanish teacher and loves working in the middle school setting.

She has 3 children of her own and enjoys spending time with her family. Ms. Dominguez always looks forward to the beginning of every school year because it is a new opportunity to serve her students and community.

Mrs. Akrie graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She went on to receive her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston in 2020. Mrs. Akrie has worked in the field of education since 2014 working at both the elementary and middle school levels.

Mrs. Akrie is passionate about her family, friends and the students and families that she serves at Dean Middle School.
