PLACE A HOLD REQUEST

What is a hold? If all copies of a book are checked out, you'll need to place a hold. This will put you on a wait list. Once a copy of the book gets returned, it'll become available for the first person on the wait list.

  1. Go to mycfisd.net and sign in with your CFISD username & password.

  2. Locate Library Resources folder, and choose Destiny Discover Catalog.

  3. Search for book(s) you want to place on hold. Click on any book cover and select 'HOLD.'

  4. When you click on Main Menu at top left corner, view books you currently have on hold.

  5. We will message you via Schoology when your hold is ready for pick-up in the Library.

Students may also renew books online! Click on Main Menu at top left corner of Destiny Discover Catalog and select 'Checkouts.' Choose RENEW button under any book you have currently checked out. Check out as many as 5 books at a time.
