- NEWSELA is a great website to find nonfiction articles at your child's reading level. There are also articles provided in Spanish. You can adjust the difficulty of the text to best accommodate your child!
- EPIC! has access to more than thousands of e-Books. Currently due to COV-ID 19, it is currently free, normally it is not.
- Reading A-Z (RAZ KIDS) gives students the opportunity to read books that are on their level. Books can be selected for them by their teacher, or themselves. The more books they read, the more they can customize their Avatar.
The students also know how to access all of Janie Stark’s Digital/Library resources. The most used resources include: MackinVia and BookFlix
- Funbrain provides many books for students to read. They have many books, from the Tom Gates series to the series of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. They have 27 E-books that are suggested for 5th grade.
- Try going to your local library, they should have books in English and Spanish. Most of our local libraries have an app that offers E-books and audio books.
