Art

Welcome

Hello families and welcome to the Rainwater Elementary Art At Home Learning Page. Below are resources and projects for your child to do at home. Please share finished projects with me by emailing (linscombn@cfbisd.edu) or messaging me through parent square. The most important thing right now is to keep their creative juices flowing and to have fun!

Daily Drawings

Guided Drawing Videos

Check out Art for kids Hub and pick a couple of their spring drawing videos to complete. Can you put several individual drawing together to create a completed picture?

How have you been feeling today? Keep a log of how you are feeling by drawing how you are feeling each day. Don't forget about disgust. Maybe you could create your own charachter like confused, tired, or silly.

Love Fortnite... Art for kids hub has you covered. Learn to draw your favorite characters. Can you draw multiple characters on a page? Can you create a scene from Fortnite? Maybe create your own Fortnite character!

Create an underwater scene. If you need help reference these videos to get started. Also what else do you find under the water? Think about the habitat and what a fish needs to survive.

Lunch Doodles with Mo

Mo Willems is an American writer, animator, and creator of children's books. He is the creator of the Elephant and Piggie books, an earlier reader series about a friendly elephant and pig. He's bringing students in his studio and doodling with them during the week.

At home projects

Read the book Leaf Man first.

Then watch this video on how to create your own Leaf Man at home.

Save your toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, cardboard boxes, bottle caps, and anything else you can think of. Grap some paint and let the fun begin.
