What should I do if my child needs to see a doctor?
If your child is experiencing a serious or life-threatening emergency, go to the emergency room or call 911
If your child has health insurance and a pediatrician, call your pediatrician first for advice. The pediatrician's office will instruct you on the next step to take. Many doctor's offices are offering virtual visits, so children and parents don't even need to go into the office.
If your child does not have insurance- don't stress! Children's Health is offering FREE virtual visits 24/7. Just use the code COVID19 when creating your account. You will need a smart phone, tablet, or video equipped computer. Visit childrens.com/virtualvisit to register.

Wet your hands
Get soap on hands
Scrub and make bubbles for at least 20 seconds (Tip: Sing the ABC song and that is 20 seconds)
Rinse the soap off of your hands
Dry your hands

WEARING A MASK
Children may be asking why they need to wear a mask. You can tell them masks help slow the spread of coronavirus. If your child is returning to Freeman for traditional face-to face instruction, he or she will need to wear a mask at different times during the day. If your child can practice wearing a mask at home, it will not seem so strange when she must wear one at school. You can also practice putting on and taking off the mask.
