Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine Taylor, and I am one of the school counselors here at Freeman. This year I am new, to the Freeman family. Prior to being here, I worked as an elementary teacher for Grand Prairie ISD. I have had the opportunity to live and grow up all over the world, thanks in part to my parents being in the military. I began my teaching career in 2014. I obtained my master´s degree in guidance and counseling from Angelo State University. I am truly excited to be a part of the Freeman family this year.

Freeman Elementary
Freeman Elementary is dedicated to providing continuous support to our families during remote and traditional learning. I am available to meet with students virtually as well as in person (when we begin re-entry) Monday through Friday. If you feel your child has an academic or personal/social need that would benefit from an appointment with me, please complete the Google form linked HERE or the button below.
Your counselor will receive notification of the request and will respond as soon as possible.

It can be extremely helpful to have a daily/ weekly schedule to help keep your scholar organized during distance learning. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to providing numerous resources and support for our scholars. We understand how challenging virtual learning can be and have attached a link where you can find organizational resources to help stay organized during virtual learning. CFBISD has a counseling center providing social and emotional support to all CFBISD students and their families free of charge.
