What to Expect in the Written Exam:
The WACE exam for Visual Art has remained largely unchanged over recent years.
The exam paper consists of 3 sections;
Section One (30 minutes) - relates to discussing elements and principles within an image, and consists of two questions.
Section Two (60 minutes) - compare and contrast extended response
Section Three (60 minutes) - extended response that looks at the artist that you have studied over the semester and their artworks. This section asks you to select one of two questions.
