The respiratory system takes in oxygen from the air we breathe.
As we breathe in, air goes into our mouth and nose. Next, the air travels down the trachea into the bronchi and the air passes from the bronchi into the bronchioles. After, oxygen is absorved into the blood and carbon dioxide passes from the blood to the bronchioles. Finally we breathe out and expel carbon dioxide.
