Information for BHSS Preconference and Conference Presenters
AUDIENCE: There are over 290 educators from around the state registered to attend this year’s conference. Registration open until Nov 30th.
AGENDA: The full schedule/agenda and session descriptions are available in the conference program. Please check there to confirm your sectional time and conference room location.
SUPPORT/ROOM HOSTS: Your session will have 1-2 room hosts from the DPI-SSPW team and the WISH Center to support your session with an opening/introductions and closing. These hosts can also help with technology or any other session needs you have onsite.
CONFERENCE ROOM LAYOUT: The conference rooms seat up to 120 participants max and will be a classroom style room setup with tables and chairs. (please specify if you have another set up request).
EQUIPMENT: Each sectional room will have a computer, projector, speakers, microphone, wi-fi access and clickers. It is requested that you use the equipment provided, so plan to bring a flash drive with any documents or presentations to be projected or prepare to log in to access your online files (ex: from Google Drive).
Lavalier microphones are available for each presenter. These clip on, and should be placed in the center under the presenter’s chin (like a necktie) for optimal audio quality.
VIDEO & MUSIC PLAYBACK: Be sure to test playback before your session starts.
HANDOUTS: Electronic copies of any handouts or slides for your sectional need to be provided by November 17th and can be emailed to or shared with wishschools@cesa4.org. or ahubing@cesa4.org. Electronic access to the handouts will be made available to registered participants.
EVALUATIONS: The conference committee will send evaluations to registered participants at the end of the pre-conference and conference days. Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the questions below for each session they attend. Presenters can request a copy of their session's evaluation results by emailing wishschools@cesa4.org. or ahubing@cesa4.org.

REGISTRATION: If you have not yet registered, please do so soon. Registration fees are waived for presenters for the conference (December 7, 2023). Click here to register each presenter - select “Speaker/Presenter ($0.00).
Presenters are responsible for their own lodging, and meals not associated with the conference. Lodging is available at the Wilderness Resort. Call 1-800-867-9453 to book your room at special rates for conference attendees. Refer to Leader#977925. Reserve by November 5, 2023 for best availability.
