Social Emotional Learning and Behavior

Tiered intervention support provides educators with an approach to determining student needs. All students receive Tier 1 behavior support through the Second STEP Curriculum. Tier 2 supports are put in place to assist groups of students who might be at-risk or are showing signs of behavior concerns and can be provided to small groups of students. Tier 3 supports are implemented for students exhibiting chronic or intense behavior needs and are provided to individual students.
